Tuesday Snippets

It's another rainy day in Vancouver. The lineup for the UBC non-stop bus were reasonably short when I got there this morning. But that changed quickly. I saw one sight-impaired person passing in front of the lines. Which wasn't too strange. But then another passed by, followed by another. Three sight-impaired people tapping their way passed the lines in a span of about 5 minutes is rather odd, I would say. I'm not one for superstition, but clearly this is an omen.

On an unrelated note, I had to return Chan's PS2 today. He was gracious enough to lend it to me while his whole wedding/honeymoon extravaganza was going on. Being the classy guy I am, I briefly contemplated returning him an equivalent-weighted rock. But Chan's a bright guy. He would have figured it out within a week or two. Also, Victorious Boxer 2 was being just a little too victorious over me.

On yet another unrelated note, we finally got word on how much our stock options are worth. I'm still a bit sad that our company was bought out by our biggest competitor, but that's the way business is run. I'm glad that our options aren't worthless, but I can't say much else. The first rule of our stock options, is you do not talk about our stock options. The second rule of our stock options is...

... you get the idea.
